I'm missing the point of this trade for Sacramento.  Wasn't Thomas Robinson just a top 5 pick? Giving up on him already?

Well this is more like Houston isn't it??

Robinson is good and hasn't had much chance in Sac.

Sac get some nice assets in Patterson and Douglas. I really like douglas actually

And to nobodies surprise Marcus joins his brother in Phoenix. Just for a 2nd round pick is a tremendous steal for phx. I mean he was a lotto pick and hasn't played all that bad. I mean freak, we could of traded our pick and could of used Morris

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Plus, Robinson has been a pretty big letdown for Sacramento.

Edit: I agree, though, bizarre trade.
He's the fifth pick in the draft, halfway through his first season. I understand he may have been underwhelming, but some patience, maybe?

Personally, I expected more from T-Rob, so my opinion is a bit biased.  Hopefully, he can find a groove in Houston.

HOU just traded both of their PF's. So, the answer is yes.

Lin Harden Parsons Robinson Asik. Daryl did a pretty good job after all. Plus they will have cap space for max player this summer.

Jason Thompson, Thomas Robinson, Patrick Patterson... I swear I can't tell these apart by name, they all sound like something out of the seven dwarves to me.

Imo sac did good making this trade. At least it makes Cousins happier bc he gets to play with his old teammate plus the team gets deeper.

Robinson was not panning out and rumors were he didn't have a good relationship with Cousins.

Starting lineup

Starting - Cousins - Patterson - Johnson - Evans - Douglas
Bench - Aldrich - Garcia - Salmons - Hayes - Thomas - Fredette

So who starts at PF in Houston now? Robinson who averages 15 minutes a game?

Also from Houston:

"The Rockets will send Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney Douglas to the Kings for Thomas Robinson, sources tell Y!"

This one is way weird.

Love it for Houston!

He may not only get more time but possibly even start.

Starting - Asik - Robinson - Parsons - Harden - Lin
Bench - Jones, Delfino - Smith - Motiejunas - White - Beverly

That has the makings of something pretty good.  Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
