If this were true, it would probably mean Green playing 20mpg at the PF spot.
Yep, Green would split his time between backing up KG at the 4 and Pierce at the 3. KG would start at the 4 and play about 30 minutes, Gortat would start at the 5 and play 36 minutes. Green, Wilcox and Collins would eat up the rest of the time at the 4/5. I would work for the C's, but like someone wrote it will take a lot more than Bass/Melo to do it...maybe Bass and Sullinger (if Sully was healthy) or Bass and Bradley.

Bass has a higher efficiency rating than Perk and is paid less.  So, I don't see why many seem to think OKC's offer is so much better.

I do think we would have to include a 1st rounder.

OKC's offer includes a much, much better prospect in Jeremy Lamb than Fab Melo.

If this should go down, it should clear up any doubts about who Santa Claus is - it's Bob Sarver.

Clearly teams are going absolutely gaga for Fab now that they know he's "available".

This would be the perfect time for the law of averages to catch up with Sherrod and have him be right about something for a change.

Bass and Fab for Gortat?  I'm overjoyed just thinking about that score.

Yeah it is Sherrod reporting this (lol.) The same guy who said Cousins was on a flight to Boston last month.

Anyway, if true I would think Phoenix would find OKC's offer (reported earlier) of Perkins, Lamb and 1st more appealing than Bass and Melo.

Perkins has an awful contract.  I think Bass, Melo and a pick would be more attractive.  Would really like to see Gortat in green if that's the price.

It must be the case that a first round pick is included on such s trade. And a first from Boston is more valuable than s first from OKC.
