Interesting... Its good for the Hornets because it seems that Gordon is never going to go play for them... For the Warriors I guess they want a more established scorer? I would be worried about an injury prone back court of Curry and Gordon.

Golden State must be really confident in their medical staff.

Way to go.

Terrific trade for Golden State. That is a game-changing trade for them.

Eric Gordon and Steph Curry would be the most dynamic backcourt in the league.

Disagree.

Klay can score as well, he's owed way less and is more durable. Klay's style fits well with GS system of picks after picks after picks, Gordon will kill the Dubs' ball movement. Only thing Gordon is ahead on Klay is defense, other than that, Klay is the better option.

Guess they'd have to include Jefferson as salary ballast.

Probably a good move all around.  Something tells me Gordon's injury issues will clear up substantially once he gets out of New Orleans.

They  need another perimeter element that just doesn't use picks after picks after picks.

They also badly need more perimeter D.

Ya, but Curry's not the best shot creator. A 2 alongside him who can handle the ball would help him greatly, and Golden State wouldn't have to rely on Jack as much..

Klay Thompson is a really good player with very good potential but Eric Gordon is the ready made deal, right here right now.

Gordon is the type of difference maker you hope Klay becomes someday. But whether Klay ends up making that leap someday is still a major question mark.

Take the guy who has already made that jump to true stardom.

Gordon sits on a bench almost as well as Greg Oden.

Count me as one who isn't high on Klay Thompson.  I see him as a one-dimensional shooter who does nothing else at an average level or better.

Needless to say, I view this as a steal for GS.  Curry/Gordon/Barnes/Lee/Bogut is a starting five you can win with if they all stay healthy.

I think that is a really big risk for GSW, based on Gordon's injury. That is the biggest question mark. If he's healthy long-term, it is a steal for GSW. If he's not, then they just lost a good young player and screwed the cap up. Very big risk.
