Always amusing to see how fans sit around waiting to hear such rumors, then rip on the providers for their credibility.

Kind of like the mother-in-law in Bachelor Party who can't stop pulling on the hotdog.

If it is a good deal why not. And don't act like a good deal can't be done. The Warriors traded for an injured Bogut last year for Monta Ellis or whenever that was. But deals can get done.

Ehh I think we could get Gortat from them without having to give up Rondo. I would want superstar if we are getting rid of rondo bass and Melo

Isn't any player capable of being moved for the right deal? Lol I thought that was why it was called the right deal.

Imagine if a gm thought he was moving players for the wrong deal lol

Boston seems to have a lot of leaks though..

I wonder if this was leaked out to get teams to make offers.

Sounds like Ainge wants a shot at this thing this year and I wonder if moving Rondo for fair value this year might be something he considers more then ever.

This is a win now deal that probably doesn't provide enough to win now.  Future is better with Rondo IMO.

Of course they are willing to trade him for the right deal.  If Brousard needs sources to tell him this, then he needs to get a new job.

In canvassing the league. I just don't see a fit. It would have to be an obvious lotto team and most of them have PGs. Don't see Orlando giving us what we want and Sacramento can't deal.

I don't think Eric Gordon really works from NO.

Maybe Utah could give us a nice package if Favors was in it.

Id actually be happy with a Memphis trade.

Rondo, Lee, Bass

for
 Randolph, Conley and Lamb.

Win now with Randolph, Conley is solid and young, Lamb is    young asset.

I assume Memphis screams yes because it's Rondo and he's cheap for a while.

Conley
Bradley/Lamb/Terry
Pierce/Green/Terrence
Zeebo/Wilcox/green
KG/Collins

"Game 4: 4 minutes 28 seconds 87-81
Game 5:2 minutes 28 seconds 84-81
These are scores in the 4th period and time left in Games 4 and 5 in 2011 versus the Heat. The Celtics were ahead in both games and Rondo was hurt, playing with one arm."  -Pearl 131  So close, yet so far.

Nah. He's got one of the best jobs around, and he isn't going anywhere.

I don't think Memphis does Davis for Bass and a first, but I like the idea of getting something for Rondo now.  I really can't see him being the same when he comes back, and I think even healthy Rondo (at least the local TV version) caused more problems than people realized with his shooting.  I think Dragic/Bradley/Pierce/Garnett/Gortat with our bench can beat anyone except the Heat in the East

Not a chance for no other reason then the Grizzlies aren't taking on added salary.  No need to discuss merits of the players traded.

Whenever you hear a rumor that says "____ willing to trade so-and-so for the right offer" it's just that team putting the word out.  It doesn't mean anybody is making any decent offers for a mercurial pg with significant flaws and a torn ACL whose team has played better without him this season (just saying that's the outsider view).
