I'd pretty much figure that's where we are for the next couple of seasons.But that's where we're headed anyway. Keeping Pierce and Garnett doesn't prevent that from happening.The difference is, the roster in the OP has multiple pieces that can be traded in the right deal. Even guys like Smith, Green, and Jordan -- on rather hefty contracts -- could be moved if they put up solid numbers and develop their games a little while they are here.Trading Pierce and KG for pieces like that is all about avoiding the tanking phase of rebuilding as much as possible by getting assets to put us closer to the next KG / Allen type trade.
