No picks today, but I'd be interested to hear what sorts of trades (if any) we should be looking at to improve Portland's roster.

Head Coach: Frank Vogel

PG: D. Lillard, R. Sessions
SG: T. Sefolosha, [R. Sessions]
SF: N. Batum, K. Singler
PF: L. Aldridge, B. Bass
C:  J. Valanciunas, N. Collison

Four picks remaining (8.13, 9.17, 10.17, 11.17), and just over $20 mil in payroll available to spend.

DKC Orlando Magic:
PG: Lin* / Knight* / Blake*
SG: Afflalo / McLemore | SF: Harkless / Fields*
PF: Harris / Amir* | C: McGee* / Ezeli*

The Nets 9 man rotation is now set.  Gotta say, I really like this roster.  Good blend of scoring (inside-outside), perimeter defense, rebounding and solid bench play.

Head Coach: Phil Jackson

C: Brook Lopez / Andray Blatche
PF: Carlos Boozer / Udonis Haslem
SF: Dorell Wright / Matt Barnes
SG: Kobe Bryant / Jason Terry
PG: George Hill / Jason Terry

TP for your thoughts!  ;D

Your top seven (starters plus Terry/Blatche) are hugely talented offensively.

A very strong offensive ball club.

I don't think there is enough defense there to go along with that high powered offense to make the Nets a title threat though.

Sure, I don't pretend it's the strongest defensive team in the world.  It's good enough, in my opinion, to keep teams at bay.  There won't be very many nights this team scores under 100.

Just looking at the main competition in the East (Knicks/Heat), and those teams weaknesses (guard play + front court depth), I feel I can expose those weaknesses more than they could expose mine.

Defending LeBron/Melo will be my toughest chore.  Wright, while not known as a defender, has the physical tools.  Mostly, he has lacked focus.  Having the opportunity to play for a contender changes a player's focus quite often.  Wright has actually put up respectable defensive numbers in certain years/situations.  Barnes, while not what he once was, is actually having a really good year this season, with very solid defense numbers.

If all else fails guarding LeBron/Melo, I could always just go with my best back-court lineup (Terry/Hill/Kobe), and test Kobe's mettle against either.  Very few challenges has Kobe ever failed to meet.

Lawson
Beal/ Hamilton
MKG/ Nick Young
Thad Young/ Sully
DMC / Haywood

Feel I have good depth now, with some older vets to help out the young guns.

Beal has been playing great recently as well, much better then at the beginning of the season

Definitely one of the teams with the brightest future.  By my count, you have 6 young guys who are all rotation-level ,at minimum , and probably at least 2 future all-stars in that group.

Rotation is starting to take shape:

PG Conley
SG Foye
SF Carmelo
PF Millsap
C Chandler

Bench:

Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler
Ed Davis
Jermaine O'Neal

Still need another wing but I feel like this is shaping up to be a very dangerous team.

I see Beal and DMC as all stars, with MKG having the potential to be better then Luol Deng whos been an all star. While Thad Young and Lawson could be a tier below
With Sully also on the bench waiting I think my team in the future could be amazing

I'd say it's you or Portland for team of the future, though Portland is closer to real contention.  Maybe he can be the team of 2015 and you could be the team of 2017.

Nice young team. It isn't making the playoffs for some years but a nice young core.

One of the top two teams in the East. Still don't know if Melo has what it takes to lead a team to a title though.

Yeah, when Bynum finally has a healthy season, your team is going to be as strong as any of the younger teams.

I'd say Edgar has a very strong young team, too.  It doesn't hurt to have a 24 year old former MVP leading the rebuilding.

D. Favors
Big Al / L. Scola
E. Turner / D. Williams
G. Henderson / A. Rivers
D. Rose / L. Ridnour

No idea what the depth chart is, and I don't like the Rivers pick.  However, Favors + Turner + Williams has huge upside, Big Al is a great post player, and Henderson is a solid young guy.

Ok, ok, all 4 all 5 of you, and anyone else I've forgotten, are the one and only Team of the Future.  Please affix this to your team logo to signify that you've been awarded this honor:

(I still do like Portland and Denver best though)
