I liked bringing in D.Stevenson to start over Belinelli.

Not much of a fan of Belinelli as a two guard in the NBA. Lightweight defender/rebounder. Too streaky offensively to consistently make up for it.

DeShawn Stevenson brings some much needed perimeter defense and a dose of physical toughness to that backcourt unit. I think he will be a valuable role player for Golden State.

I love your bench with Eric Bledsoe and Carl Landry. Two top line reserves. They will give you one of the best bench units in the league. I am a big fan of that pairing.

I didn't realize Budinger hadn't played since November.  Looks like you could use some reinforments at the 3? But other than that I'm a fan of this team. 

If Gordon, STAT, and Budz can all stay healthy this team should be competing for the playoffs while establishing itself as one of the best future teams.

Great news everyone: Andrew Bynum went through a full practice yesterday with the actual real life 76ers. Like a real practice, with a real team.

I know! I'm as excited as you guys are!

Looks like Bynum is still quite a ways off and might not even be guaranteed to be back this year.

I think you're overly skewing Collin's comments to the negative. Let's not forget that he's currently coaching a vastly under-performing team that a lot of people had high hopes for. He doesn't want to sound optimistic, because if the bad stuff happens, where will he be left?

I'll bet you 500 TP's that Bynum plays this year. I'll bet you 100 TP's that he plays at least 20 games. That's a March 11th return, minimum.

I'm also going to dock you 3 TP's for posting a Bleacher Report link and pretending its actual news. That means the next 3 times I would've been intending to give you a Tommy Point, I'll give it to charity, for the kids. You've been around too long to be posting hot garbage like Bleacher Report up in this house.

Lots to talk about here. 

Some health concerns with EGor and Amare.  The million-dollar question is whether or not STAT's health holds up long enough to give you a few years of contention when the Brow hits his stride. 

As far as fit goes, though, everything is there.  Jack is an average PG, but PG's are overrated anyway.  Jack and Gordon aren't the quickest of backcourts, but Davis should make up for a lot of that.  Mbah a Moute is a tremendous fit because your other four starters can all shoot.  Davis covers Amare's deficiencies on defense and rebounding, though I do think you'll be a bit below average on the glass as a whole.  Budinger is a nice weapon off the bench and has become underrated in the wake of his injury. 

Kanter makes a lot of sense along with Davis, and you'll probably end up shifting Davis to the 4 and starting Kanter when Amare slows down. 

I like this team a lot overall.  I initially thought you picked Amare too early in the draft - thought the contract and health issues would drop him some - but if he's healthy he makes you a dangerous playoff team much earlier than you otherwise would have been with just Gordon and Davis.  You'd better hire Phoenix's medical staff, though, because this team will need the best.  This team could become a strong contender for a couple of years, or it could become as big of a what-if story as real-life Portland.

EDIT:  Looked up Jack's stats... he's doing a lot better this year than I thought.  Didn't know how well he was shooting the ball.  If that's not a fluke (he's been wildly inconsistent from year to year), then he's a good PG for you.

I don't think Kris Humphries is a better 4 than Wallace, let alone starting quality for your squad. You've got 4 strong starters, 1 of which is elite for the position. Humphries is a guy I'd be squirmy about as a backup, and panicky about as a starter.

I think you need a 9 man rotation.

I don't think A.Miller and G.Vasquez will play that well alongside one another so I think a four man backcourt instead of a three man backcourt. Neither player is a strong shooter so I think another sharp-shooting SG behind Klay Thompson would work well.

Main priority would continue to be a strong backup PF. More minutes available there behind Z-Bo and Asik than behind Klay Thompson. Hence, the larger priority. Someone with quick feet defensively and a jump-shot. Someone that can give floor spacing alongside Asik when Z-Bo rests or play alongside Z-Bo with Z.Randolph sliding to center when your team needs more quickness (Z-Bo + PF) from it's bigs rather than size and heft (Z-Bo + Asik).
