Did you hear about what happened to all the rebounds?

my team got them.

My team has more! And we're actually all healthy! ;D

I'll concede the healthy part, but not the rebound part. I think I've got you beat at every position except PF.

Rajon Rondo (5.5)
Tyreke Evans (5)
Ersan Ilvasova (6)
Kenneth Faried (10)
Anderson Varejao (14)

Greivis Vasquez (4.5)
Klay Thompson (4)
Jeff Green (5.5)
Zach Randolph (11.5)
Omer Asik (11.5)

You win by a slim margin, but if Anderson's injured he can't get any rebounds! (0) And Rondo's out too, so he might as well get a (0) as well >:D

What crazy kooky universe occurs where Jeff Green is getting 5.5 rebounds per?

His career average is 5.2 and he had 6.7 one year...

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
1- Chris Paul
2- ?
3- Kyle Korver
4- Blake Griffin
5- Larry Sanders

The actual guy who mans the 3 (and the 2) for the Clippers I think would've served you much better than Korver, but I'm absolutely excited about Larry Sanders growing next to Griffin. I think he might even hold them back a little this season, but I also think in a year or so he'll be the difference between fringe contender and outright contender.

Haha...he was playing 37 minutes a game at the power forward and giving up twice as many points as he scored! I don't think that's the El Jefe you're imagining, is it?

Now usually I don't do this but...

Pick 2 Draft - Boston Celtics (71.6) Remaining (43.5)
C: Tim Duncan (9.6 / 10.3 / 10 play op)
PF: Kevin Garnett (11.5 / 12.4 / 12 (unguaranteed)
SF: Jared Dudley (4.2 / 4.2 / 4.2 / 4.2 eto)
SG: JR Smith (2.8 / 2.9 play op)
Garnett is going to end up kicking the ever living crap out of JR Smith after half a season of seeing Smith jack up 30 footers with 15 seconds on the shot clock, but other than that, one of the best team in the east so long as your playoff games don't go into overtime and KG and TD don't have to start playing 40 MPG.

That's the thing with having KG and TD. They are 30MPG players at best and over an extended time where they have to play more than that, I think you will start to see inconsistent production and a drop in production. For that reason, you have to get deep in the frontcourt and I would have chosen a back up big before Smith.

C:Andre Drummond
PF: Greg Monroe
SF: Chandler Parsons
SG:
PG: Darren Collison

Your future, we haz it.

I thought the Darren Collison pick was really poor. I can appreciate wanting to save money, but if you're going to do that, why not go with someone with a little more upside? Or spend a little extra on a proven guy on a short contract?

Love Monroe and Drummond. And Parsons will put the ladies behinds in the seats, that's for sure.

I saw that coming, judging by your spreadsheet. But thinking long term, I'm going to have to resign Drummond and Monroe, they're the core. So insane overspending ( see what I did there) didn't make sense for what I'm trying to do. Collison has already proven he can be a valuable cog in a playoff team that's built around it's front court. There were a couple of valuable veterans but I didn't think they were tremendously useful on this team.

Hey guys! Pick me! Pick me!

Gotta go young with your next pick:

BPA is probably not a pure point guard, but I'd atleast consider him. If not, you've got two good, young PG options if you want to go that direction.

It won't matter, I suppose, when my team plays yours head-to-head. JG will go iso on every play and never miss, so there won't be any rebounds.

Pacers

PG - S. Nash
SG - A. Afflalo
SF - P. George
PF -
C  - R. Hibbert

--------------

I recently realized keeping West and searching for a Hibbert replacement was probably the ideal way to go.

Tough to find those thriple threat big men who can post-up/d-up/and rebound.

To be fair, I'm the king of overreacting, and I have a tendency to bury guys like Collison who've disappointed based on where I thought they'd be.
