Finally, I feel like I can post this:

Cavs:

PG: Kyrie Irving/Isaiah Thomas
SG: Lance Stephenson
SF: Harrison Barnes
PF: Ryan Anderson
C: Andrew Bynum DNP-INJ

If Bynum stays healthy, this is a future contender, just due to the Irving-Barnes-Bynum potential.  However, I've given up hope on Bynum.

Alright, I feel like the Rockets are starting to take shape.

Chalmers/Harden/Chandler/Nene/Hawes is my starting squad.  An offense built around Harden and Nene - either in the pick and roll together or on their own.  Chalmers will provide a capable 3-point threat to space the floor and a secondary ball-handler on the perimeter.  Chandler can space the floor a bit and attack the weaker defenders.  Hawes will be a floor spacer with his solid perimeter shooting, as well as a facilitator and supplementary scorer from the high and low post.  Manu will bring the pain off the bench, replacing Mario as a higher-usage PG and pick and roll threat alongside Harden, and then taking over the reins of the offense when Harden needs a break.  Marvin Williams' combo-forward skillset will allow us to stay big when Chandler rests or go small and up-tempo with Chandler at the 4 and Nene at the 5.

Defensively, we're not great, but we have good size and enough flexibility to match up against power teams and quick teams.

What holes do you think I should concentrate on filling - got two picks in the mid 6th that will be key.

I think you are done. A seven man regular rotation.

Everything is already covered with the 7 guys you have selected. You can just go and run with that. Those guys will play night in night out and maybe you pick a specialist on a night by night basis as an 8th or even 9th guy depending on whatever (if any) extra skill-set the opponent you face.

I think it's just BPA from now on. Specialists to fill out your bench. An extra PG. A PF with legitimate size and bulk. An extra defensive C. Stuff like that.

Really like this team. I am still skeptical of Monroe and Drummond together but Bargs is a perfect compliment to either regardless

Why did you choose Lance Stephenson? That pick surprised me.

I think Lance Stephenson has improved by a significant margin from his previous performances. His shot and his shot selection has stabilized, his turnovers have been cut, and his defense is predictably (from scouting reports) stellar at the 2 position.

He's also started 46 games for the Pacers, playing nearly 30 minutes a contest, so I'm not worried about how the increased minutes will affect his production or energy levels.

What I wanted at my 2 spot was Tony Allen. What I got was a guy who has a high defensive potential, and is currently starting for a playoff team. So not Tony Allen, but not so bad either.

Some trades I expected have not worked so this looks like what I am likely stuck. Will certainly take a different approach next draft but I am generally happy with the youth and talent of this team.

nice looking team.  pretty well balanced.  hard to find any faults with it.  a better PG maybe but that's about it.

If Joe D believes in them, I believe in them.
