I'm getting married this coming May, and was trying to have an 'NBA styled' wedding reception entrance.
I came up with idea today of trying to contact the Celtics PA announcer Eddie Palladino to see if he would be willing to do a voiceover for the reception entrance. I searched all over online and it looks like he used to do them previously (according to voice123.com), but I'm not sure if he still does. Since it would really be a side job for him and not through the Celtics, I'm not sure the proper way of trying to contact him. I found him on LinkedIn, but it looks like you need a premium account or to have 'Connected' with him in order to contact him.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to contact him? And if I am, any suggestions on songs to come out to if I'm able to do it? Didn't really want to do the classic 'shipping to Boston', but was trying to find something different.
If I'm not able to get him, might just go for an 'NBA Themed' intro instead with the Chicago Bulls theme song, and have the DJ announce each person and their height like a starting lineup (maybe everyone comes out with breakaway pants). I've seen links to a couple places that do a good job putting it together (Josh Paulson does one). It wouldn't quite be 'Celtics' but I'd be very happy with an NBA themed as well and their intro song is a great one to come out to.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
