Not digging the Alicia Keys show.  Looks like she's another one who can only sing when she has studio equipment to help her out.

she can actually sing and play the piano very well without all that crap. I'm disappointed she has decided to go with mailing in her performances.

All Star Weekend has become a joke, from the atrocity that is All Star Saturday night to the god-awful singing performances.

The only event I remotely enjoy is the Rising Stars Challenge.  And this year's was ruined by Sully's exclusion and then injury.

It really comes down to stars being pansies and not competing Saturday night.  I mean, really, LeBron, Westbrook, Wall, etc. could and should compete in the dunk contest.  Dr. J, MJ, and even Kobe have done it.

It's all for fun, and I enjoy it.
I mean, the Rising Stars was my favorite, because those players are certainly gonna be stars in the future. Shved was awesome and I see a big future for him! Kyrie showed his HOF skills in the Three-Point shootout and against Brandon Knight (LOL)

The Dunk Contest wasn't too good, but I enjoyed the finals and those were some nice athletic dunks. The missed dunks were just.. bad.

The skills challenge and shooting stars were never good anyways, they were just fun to watch I suppose. Maya Moore is good, obvz.

And... tonight we just get to see some nice plays we've never seen before like Paul->Howard or something. The best part could be the end when it's a close game and the best basketball in the world

After working in recording studios for several years, if anything studio equipment overexposes your flaws.

Assistant engineers spend days on end in studios with autotune plugins and pitch altering software to fix the vocal takes from these girls....

The live performance just reveals what the voice is like before the tuning.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

Not really. It reveals what the voice has become AFTER tuning. Singing music in studios isn't supposed to be great music, but rather music that is easy to adjust. I'd be willing to say singers are worse after they are exposed to years and years of studio-work, when singing without studios...

Oooh, nice high arcing fadeaway by LeBron over Durant's long reach along the baseline.

That was an awful pass by Wade. Down at Melo's shins.

I don't think I have ever seen a player throw a pass to his teammates shins as much as I have seen D-Wade do it. It used to drive me nuts when his post entry passes to Shaq where down around knees.

I love centers who can take that FT line jump-shot. Duncan missing there.

I think this is pretty close to the East's best lineup

C: Bosh
F: LeBron
F: Melo
G: Wade
G: Kyrie

I might go with Paul George over D-Wade. Aadded size and length defensively + better long distance jump-shooter. D-Wade's superior dribble penetration and shot-creation isn't necessary with LeBron, Kyrie and Melo out there.

I think George may be a better complementary piece versus Wade.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

This game has me bored out of my skull... I'm just waiting for the walking dead re-run to start.

Tony Parker is so fast. Loving the explosive quickness of Westbrook + Parker together.
