Hey everybody, I am a diehard Celtics fan and I am looking to get some new Celtics ink soon. I already have the Celtics Logo on my right tricep and a clover on my right forearm that says pride underneath it. I am looking for some new ideas, quotes would work as well. I was thinking of " what hurts more, the pain of hard work or the pain of regret?" Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! As always, Go Celtics!

Dang! Tommy Point for your commitment to green! Much respect.

Thank you! I got my first tattoo during the 06-07 18 game losing streak so I like to think I turned their luck around a bit haha. It's hard to come up with new ideas so I figured I would take my question to the blog!

The Jason Terry tattoo!  I've already committed to getting that tattoo if we win the championship this season

Thanks for the suggestions! Any more would be appreciated. I thought of the Jason Terry tattoo, but since I already have the logo with lucky in it, I don't know if it would be worth getting something that similar again!

If you're Irish a 4 leaf clover might be good. I learned from various things like Paterno, Tiger, and Lance not to tattoo references to people on you. Not until at least they've been dead a while and are in the clear. Kind of like the Sainthood waiting period

Makes me wonder if anyone out there has a Pistorius "blade runner" tattoo because they were inspired by him and though his fake legs looked cool.

So, if you want a tattoo of a dead guy, you should go with a full back depiction of Joe "Gino" Massoni, who reportedly died in 1990.

Why not just get a tattoo of the Celtics jersey?  And by that, I mean tattoo your entire upper body in the scheme of the Celtics NBA jersey, and have the number and player name of your choice in white across your back (or green, if you're going with the home jersey).  Think about it, CELTICS would be tattooed across your chest.  Nobody would ever be able to question your fanhood with that tattoo.

But in all seriousness, I can't give you a constructive idea.  I've been contemplating getting a tattoo for over 5 years now (non sports-related), but I haven't been able to think of an original and meaningful design to fit my liking yet.
