Here's the easy part...
Hawks/Celtics
Jeff Green, Brandon Bass, and a future pick to the Atlanta Hawks for Josh Smith. Doesn’t seem like enough for me but it’s the rumor. Hawks would get pieces moving forward to work with instead of losing Smith for nothing.

Now the hard part.

I don't think the Celtics will trade Rondo for Howard.

Clippers/Celtics
Celtics would send Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers would send DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe, Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, possibly a draft pick to the Boston Celtics. The Celtics can do what they want with Odom.

Garnett would definitely waive his no trade clause if dealt with Pierce. That would give the Clippers an absolutely unbelievable lineup with Garnett/Griffin/Pierce/Billups/Paul. With the bench they have I really think they would be the best team in the West, easily.

But with Howard...it gets really complicated.

I believe this is what would happen.

Celtics/Clippers/Lakers Three Way
Celtics would send Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Los Angeles Clippers. They would send Rajon Rondo to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Clippers would send DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe, and Caron Butler to the Boston Celtics, and Lamar Odom to the Lakers for salary filler. The Lakers would send Dwight Howard to the Celtics.

The Lakers could then trade Steve Nash now or this offseason and the Celtics would have a future team of

C- Jordan/Melo
PF- Howard/Sullinger
SF- Smith/Butler
SG- Bradley/Lee
PG- Bledsoe/Barbosa

But more realistically, Howard/Rondo won't happen.

Why is it crap? Next year, you could potentially have a team of Eric Bledsoe, Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Josh Smith and Dwight Howard with Deandre Jordan as your back up center/6th man.

Doesn't seem like crap to me.

How many times are we going to keep bringing back Pierce and KG?

This was suppose to be a 3 year window and that was 6 years ago

If one of these trades happens, I want them all to happen so that we obtain a lineup like that. Only way its worth it to me. Also, don't forget Sully as a backup pf. Great rebounding team ill give it that, but be prepared to have a pillow nearby to punch when the team bricks half its fts

But we would have to trade green to get smith... So... No we wouldn't.

This lineup would have the worst field goal percentage outside of 5 feet in the history of the nba

We won't get Howard so it's a moot point and that lineup was configured based on all three deals happening...
