Bass (or terry/lee) and green for josh smith

Kg and rondo for dwight and bledsoe

Pp for picks/prospects

Leaves us with a core of d12, bradley, bledsoe, smith, sully,

How good could they be?

Terrible ft shooting team but very tough inside, and a very good rebounding team. I don't see it all happening though

It's a hell of a starting point. We would need a pure scorer, but that team would be nasty

I think it would likely be one of those 50 win teams that can't get past the 2nd round.

No scoring, no three point shooting, and the two best players on the team can't make free throws. Isn't that just great.

beat me to it. plus, howard and smith are not the sharpest knives in the drawer and on offense will make as many poor decisions as good ones. i dont see where consisten offense would come from on this team.

on the other hand, if everyone would play defense as doc dictates, then this is a heck of a defensive team. but whether, again, howard and smith would be willing and able to play doc's complex defenses is another matter.

but back to kozy's point, who scores during crunch time? on the team proposed, defenses would consistently back under the basket since not enough real threats of outside scoring exists.

Let's see...one team cancer (Howard) who is injured and on the downside of his career.  Another semi-cancer (Smith) who has anchored a team that has finished over .500 only a couple times in his career.  Oh and two low-tier starting talents on a team that is quickly sinking in the Western Conference.

Yep, that's one heck of a start.

I'm not sure what some expect. Having all those young talents as our starters is a great start. It's not like we are going to get the best roster in the league in a couple of moves lol.
