Jordan turns 50 on Sunday and ESPN seems to be giving it wall to wall coverage like he's some kind of deity. Anyone out there tired of it already? (We still have two days to go, too.)

Nope.  There should be more.  Most of the programs on ESPN are garbage anyway, glad to replace them with some MJ.

I'm not old enough to have ever seen Bill Russell play, but I'd assume his footage isn't as visually appealing and TV friendly as Jordan's.

Yes -- I wish they would give more coverage of other All-Time greats.

I think it's great stuff.

Some great retrospectives & some of the interviews have been pretty awesome.

Yeah I'm sick of the Jordan stuff.

I was a kid when he was playing and doing well probably like kids like Lebron now.

Now that I'm older I'm just sick of him and just see the same things in him that I see in Kobe and Lebron to make me dislike them.

Man it must have been frustrating back then to see Jordan get the benefit of the doubt on every single call like Lebron in the present day. It just taints the league IMO although I know people will defend it to the grave.

I'm sick of hearing he's the biggest competitor and no one wanted it more than Jordan. It's like you ever hear of Russell? Lol

Yes I'm tired of it and no, he's no Russell... with that said, I'd rather hear about him, than the endless stuff about LeBroid!

Of the 7 people thus far who voted that he is no Bill Russell and seem absolutely 100% certain that he isn't as good as Russell, I wonder how many of them ever saw Bill Russell play a single game.  My guess is 0.

This and they talk about it every single day. How many times can you ask the same question and debate about it? How many times can you ask Michael whose better Kobe or LeBron and debate about that?
I had to change off of ESPN because that was all they talked about like there's nothing else in basketball to talk about.
