Good for Spo. Sticking by his player. I like that.
It makes some sense because of the West's size with Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard. A second big man for the East will be useful.

Well I don't mind Spoelstra picking his own guy, I would hope Doc would do the same. I just don't like seeing miami's big 3 all together in the starting lineup.

4 forwards and 1 guard in the starting lineup. I guess it is his call as the coach for the east, but it still sucks.
LeBron is everything but a center. So kind of throws that part of you "4 forwards" statement out.
And Bosh is deserving. You could make an argument for someone else I guess but he is deserving.
LJ normally plays SF or PF. Just because he handles the ball doesn't make him a guard.

Eh, it doesn't really matters who starts in this glorified exhibition.
These guys don't turn it up until about 6 minutes left of the 4th quarter of the game. Who finishes the game is the more intriguing aspect.
Some of the most fun and awesome basketball you see is in the waning minutes of the the 4th quarter of the All Star Game.

Yeah, doesn't really matter that much who starts anyways. I doubt KG will see huge minutes in the game either way.
It is just one of our rivals getting 3 guys on the starting lineup. I know the heat are a great team, but hopefully someone knocks them out this year in the playoffs.

I'm sure Bosh is stoked but I'd be kind of embarrased if I was him.
You weren't selected as a starter and now it's like your mom picking you to start even though it makes absolutely no sense.
But on a serious note this isn't a shocker, the all star game is such a joke they always have weird line ups and he will probably start them for a few minutes then make subs etc.

You don't think you could play him at PG or SG? He does play those positions in the way he plays the game anyways. He does everything. He is a better SG than any SG you could play against him. That's the point. He makes positions irrelevant and makes this kind of lineup perfectly viable.
