Maybe, but we'll still get comparable contribution.

We had Dwayne Jones. He was horrible back then, and has been pretty much out of the NBA since. Not terribly impressed.

I actually liked Jones a lot better than guys like Mikki Moore.  I'm surprised he didn't stick in the league as an end of the bench guy.

I don't think Danny Ainge can afford a roster spot on a third string center who can't beat Jason Collins out for playing time.

Roster spots in short supply now with all the injuries. I think the team needs someone who offers more than Dwayne Jones.

Sorry I don't think when he averages 2 RPG that he's a great rebounder.  If he was great at anything he would still be in the league at his siz and since he's not.....

i would give him another chance. He got like a zero chance when we had him before in his career

He is everything we are looking for , except FT

But Danny can't greedy right now. Jones is basically a better Ryan Hollins. Will do his share of dirty work underneath, has a good wingspan, vertical leap and is not a bad passer.

Give him a 10 day imo. Last nbdl game he got 16 rebounds. Someones going to give him a shot if we don't.

I tend to agree, though I do like Jones.
Jones is a pure C. Not a big position of need for the team. If, heaven forbid, we get an injury at that position then Jones is a possibility.
