Just throwing this out there for discussion since there was a report that Jennings wants out of MIL.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/226095/Source-Jennings-Has-Irreconcilable-Differences-With-Bucks

How about Rondo + Melo for Jennings + Dalembert?

MIL does it because Rondo is the best player in the trade and they could lose Jennings all together. Also Melo is a decent big man prospect.

BOS does it to get a PG for the playoff run plus gets a rim protecting center.

Not looking to move Rondo, just thought it was an interesting idea...

hell no, jennings is the definition of a chucker, Rondo is way better and more versatile. Jenings is a 39% career shooter, BIG PASS for me. Plus you are going to have to pay him big Money next year as a restricted free agent.

Haven't really watcher Jennings enough. The times I've seen him play I thought he looked pretty good. good penetrator and finisher. decent passer with three point range on his shot.

If Milwaukee would agree to it I would to try & win this year. But after next year if Jennings doesn't improve under Doc's coaching,  I would just let him walk & reset with Pierce & KG likely to retire that offseason..

call me crazy, tell me i'm wearing green tinted beer goggles, but this trade works and i'm having trouble seeing why atl or Milwaukee hang up.

here's the proposal
to atl: jennings, ilyasova, bass, melo
to mil: josh smith
to bos : teague, dalembert

why for Atl? ilyasova's young skilled and locked up, jennings is a SCORER, bass is solid Melo's... tall?
Mil: how else are the bucks going to get a shot t signing a player like smith?
Bos... highway robbery, but hey somehow it works...

Great trade for Milwaukee.

I think Boston needs a lot more coming back other than Dalembert to give up Rondo for Jennings.

I am thinking Milwaukee would need to include Larry Sanders alongside Brandon Jennings plus add a first round pick before I would consider trading Rondo to the Bucks.

This trade amounts to Milwaukee trading Ilyasova, Dalembert, and Jennings for Smith, followed by Atlanta immediately shipping Dalembert out with Teague for Bass and Melo in a separate transaction.

Regardless of whether it is viewed as a "win now" or "for the future" trade, it's just bad value.  Jennings is a bad defender and not really a good passer either.

Milwaukee would have to include Sanders just to get the conversation started.  I'd want a 1st as well.

There is a trade I'd make with Milwaukee but it would take more than Dalembert for me. Maybe Jennings/Sanders/LRMM for Rondo and minimum contracts. Rondo is a top 5 PG and Jennings just isn't. Also Rondo is on a great contract so Milwaukee would have a couple of years before they had to give him franchise player money.

I don't love the idea of giving up Rondo but from an asset standpoint I think Milwaukee has just enough to give us for him.
