Point of interest.  The Spurs currently have 6 players on their roster, for a toal of $24.38m.

Meanwhile, the Nets currently are at $75.33m, lead by Kobe Bryant who, at $27.85m, makes more than the Spurs' entire roster.

Puts them in excellent position for a run at Wade in 2014?

Now, by saying "them", I'm assuming you mean the Nets.  Wouldn't you know it, but lo and behold, that is also the same year that Kobe/Boozer come off the books.  ;)

Still looking to trade two picks for a better one.  Looking for a seventh, early eighth at the worst.  Let me know if you're interested.

Available players list

* Note: This list isn't exhaustive.  Teams are eligible to draft free agents or overseas players.  However, you take a player in his current position.  In other words, if he's currently injured, he's injured on your team.  If he's under contract to an overseas team, he remains under contract for purposes of this game.  For free agents who are eligible to play this season, please contact me and I will assign a salary to that player for purposes of this game.

I want a 3pt specialist to go with Allen and Martin

6.28

Jimmer Fredette

Showing some good improvement in Sacramento. I can't help but wonder if that roster and coaching staff has been holding him back. Sacramento is such a mess. Especially that backcourt (Tyreke, M.Thornton, A.Brooks, I.Thomas, Fredette).

OKC sends: Ray Allen, 6.28, 7.28, 11.28

PHI sends: Jamal Crawford, 9.9, 10.9, 11.9

Confirmed.

I don't love this one for OKC.

I really like this deal for Philly.  Got the best player for a contending team and the best picks.

OKC sends: Ray Allen, 6.28, 7.28, 11.28

PHI sends: Jamal Crawford, 9.9, 10.9, 11.9

Confirmed.

I don't love this one for OKC.

Maybe if OKC already had a starting SG it wouldn't be so terrible, Crawford is a more valuable bench player, as he can play 2 positions.  No way would I prefer having Crawford as my starting SG over Allen though.

Gonna be tough to find a starting SG at this point to justify this move.

That's my issue with it.  Crawford needs to be given the ball and plenty of shots.  He's not going to get that starting between Durant and Jrue.

He's a great 6th man, but OKC needs a floor-spacing SG to start.  In giving up their 6th and 7th rounders, I'm not sure they're going to find that (if that player is still out there at all.)

I have Shved to start so Crawford can do his work off the bench.

OKC a finals lock and I feel we only got better.

I don't know one way or the other about the Finals lock.

In my opinion, the trade was a definite downgrade.  Even if it isn't, as you say, you now have no 6th, 7th, or 8th round pick (I'm assuming, I can't see where you have your picks listed).  You also only have two bench players. How do you plan on fielding any sort of bench at this point?

I've poured through pages of player lists, and the talent pool for players that are actually NBA rotation caliber is very slim now.  About all that is left are backup PGs and 4th string bigs.

Ultimately, I think you hurt yourself more than however much you may have helped yourself here.

"I got shooters out the D League"

I wouldn't have made the move with the picks if I didn't already realize the talent pool dried up. So I have up some 5-10 minute scrubs in the 6th and 7th, nbd. I could've grabbed a few decent names but besides perk all positions are heavily jammed for minutes (perk and smith have Thompson).

Goals next few rounds are a backup pg between Jrue and Crawford. A stand in at SF for Durant while he takes his 4-5 mins off and a big to fill in the front court reserve.

Criticize if you like but I'm very happy where I am with my squad. As I've said I've messed up my last two CB draft squads so at the very least I like seeing my drafts improve
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
