I would just like to point out that my two most expensive players are Courtney Lee and Andrea Bargnani.

Check out my squad to see how ya manage your cap.

It's a nice squad, but you lack a perimeter player who is of an elite status.  Lucky for you, your shrewd cap management might allow you to buy a player from a team in cap peril.

Unless the Lakers steal said player.

Meh. I think if you have two elite post players, and you're planning on working through them 'elite perimeter' offense doesn't mean all that much. I think it's more important to surround them with smart players who care capable shooters and who can move the ball around.

I'm sure I could acquire someone considered 'elite' (probably on a bad contract), but I don't think it'd really be worth it for my squad.

Man, it's nice to have this little oasis of civility and sanity in this thread while the rest of the blog is on the bullet train to Crazytown.
The rest of the blog does seem to have gone a bit bonkers, huh?

Thirding that.  Everyone's mad that Danny refused to make their imagination trade even though he totally could have it worked fine in 2k I HATE YOU DANNY!!1!

I didn't expect a miracle but if Morris from Houston was available for a 2nd round pick? Dude is 6'10 and only 23

Gotta say, after that third round just decimated my list of players I wanted on my team, I have to say, I am thrilled at the amount of players that were drafted in the fourth round that I would absolutely never think of drafting. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that they aren't good players or didn't deserve to be drafted so high, just that I would never draft them. So that's really good for the Lakers.

Anyone watching SC?

The dunking sea otter is the #2 play of the day.

This sea otter pick up a ball in a pool and jumps up out of the water and dunks the ball through a basketball hoop and then hangs on the hoop like a pro. Its awesome. Can I use my 11th rounder on that sea otter and change the name of the Lakers to Sea Otters?

I wanna draft that sea otter!!!

He's in the Oregon Zoo. Says he only wants to play for Portland, where it rains more than once a year.

Sorry, nick. Sometimes, it doesn't pay to be LA.
