3.28

Ray Allen

Bam!! Oh no you didn't OKC

We'll take Judas at just $3.09 mil and a chance to start again on a contender. Retirement? Who is he Grant Hill??

Plan is he'll be open in the corner when KD or Smith is doubled team or when Jrue drives and kicks out.

Bring on the heat...err Thunder!

Very well done so far TTF, I'll be interested to see who your center is...

I'm amazed that Ray Allen stayed on the board so much longer after Korver.

well, deciding factor between my 2 options came down to $.

with 3.27, the Heat take Sweet Lou Williams.
Torn, I think you should have used the pick for a player who could help now but really good for the future.

too bad he got injured cause he was tearin it up
it was a tough decision.  I had a few others in mind but I think it's a good pick for this team going forward -- much like when Rondo was picked earlier in the draft.

This team is still young.  The only really 'old' player is Emeka and he's still got plenty of game left in him.  we'll be set for awhile

Hmm.  There's still at least one SG on the board that I would take over Ray Allen at this point.  Still, he does fit your other players well, as long as you can hide him defensively.

Wow the third round really drained the depth for my team. Great picks overall I'm going to really need to find some gems with my later picks, luckily all i need is some veterans to add to my team

plenty of good talent still out there.  easily go through the next 4 full rounds and get some quality players.  some people may be feeling the salary cap pinch very shortly though and have to forego their options A, B, C, ... J, K, L, etc...  and just take Warm Body Getting Paid

Funny, it seems like not nearly as many trades going down today

I think there were a flurry of trades in the first few days while people figured out where they were going with their team.  Now, most people have a direction in mind and things aren't quite so crazy.

My guess is that there will be another flurry of trades in the middle-to-end of the draft as people realize that they're stuck up against the cap and near to clear some money, or are way underneath the floor and need to eat a bad contract.  In the meantime, people are putting feelers out here and there but otherwise seem content to finish out their team through the draft.
