Also I don't know if anyone noticed, but I now have 3.8.

3.6 didn't work for me, but 3.8 does. My 3.6 was right at the end of my midterm :P

But no seconds! :o

Yep. Gonna remedy that with this:

I now have three early thirds (3.8, 3.12, 3.13)...

I will move any two of them for a mid-to-early second and fourth, or around there. An early second and fifth could also possibly do.

For all the grief Howard has taken this year and about how off a year it has been for him, he still is:

Scoring 16.2 PPG while taking the second least shots per game in his career.

Leading the league in rebounds per game

Leading the league in defensive rebounds per game

Averaging a .578 FG% to place 4th in the league

Blocking 2.3 shots a game to place 5th in the league

All while recovering from back surgery and undergoing various nagging injuries caused by overcompensating for the not fully healed back.

Plus he's 27. He could well have a monster, league dominating second half of the year and beast into his normal 20PPG, 15 RPG, 3 BPG play in the playoffs.

A wise man once told me that there's no guarantee players will improve; with changes in their team, their attitude, or injuries, sometimes they plateau or even just regress for good.  It's a good thing none of those apply to Dwight  :P

Haha. Howard has battled nagging back injuries for two years now. He even said he'd sit out the year if it meant his health going forward. Injury prone, coach killing, willing to quit on his team of it means his payday next season... Oh it's all adding up.

Well, nobody can accuse me of being boring.  I've made three (about to be four) trades and we haven't even hit the second round yet.

Atzar what's up with your picks in your signature? Didn't I send you 5.6?

Uh, good catch.  I had forgotten about it, haha.

Thanks.

I'm gonna be heading off to bed soon.

A reminder for tomorrow morning:

I now have three early thirds (3.8, 3.12, 3.13)...

Quote
Warriors trade Thompson, 2.11, 8.11

Memphis trade Gasol, 3.15, 10.15

Confirmed.

That is really bad value for Marc Gasol. He is a terrific player.

It'll be hard for Memphis to recover from this deal.

I am excited to see what Golden State does with it's next pick. There is one guy there who has been slipping who would be fantastic for that team. Marc Gasol is a game-changer for Golden State. Opens up so many options.

Edit: Oh, I just realized GSW doesn't have a pick for awhile. My mistake. Still, a good three man core to build around.
