I think that in the "real" NBA, Rose would have been the #1 non-keeper chosen.
I think people kinda forgot about Rose. His MVP kinda has an asterisk, he gets injured, and all of a sudden he's just another face in the crowd.
underneath that asterisk it says, "but really, this award belongs to Dwight Howard or Lebron James." but that's another story entirely |

Do you know something I don't? I thought there was a strong chance he's out for the year.
Yes, but many teams would take an MVP caliber player even if they might not come back this year. Rose has a franchise altering talent level.
If we're playing for 2013-2014-2015, that changes my strategy entirely. I think I really misunderstood what we're going for- I'm glad my pick hasn't come up yet |

OK just got it and read thru the latest developments.
Still don't quite get a few of the trades last night, oh well.
Batum was drafted too early in my opinion, but he's solid.
Dallas is STRONG. Mayo, Pierce & Dirk is a strong core.
Rose was a good pick, I agree with the idea of looking past just this season.
