Not wild about John Wall and Bradley together. It puts a lot of pressure on your frontcourt to supply jump-shooting. Limits one's options in terms of who you can slot alongside them.

I'd love to see Wall in a pick and roll centric offense surround by shooters. A nice four out one in offense. With his explosive quickness and dribble penetration, Wall would be a nightmare to contain.

that is type of team im going to try to build around Jrue

Except Jrue's not the same calibre of player off the bounce as Wall.

I would go with a more Detroit Pistons circa 2004 type team around Jrue Holiday + Josh Smith.

Except he has no 1st round pick.  I'm guessing there will be no Sheed or Big Ben by the 2nd round.

Combined: the Spurs trade both keepers, and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounders for John Wall, Avery Bradley, 1.20, and 5.20

When put in this perspective, this doesn't look so good for the Spurs.

It's possible, but gonna take a little luck and wise drafting with those 2 late 1st's.

I know exactly who he is getting for both 1st thats if they are still available
as for the 5th rounder i dont know but it will be a nice rebuilding team

You know who I'm selecting?

What is this witchcraft?

Yeah, it wouldn't be as good as that Detroit team but doing something along those same lines ... I think would give Philly their strongest squad.

There won't be much offense available by the time Philly picks so going heavily into a defense first model, I think that is their best play.

A wing scorer. A defensive center. A defensive stopper / shooter on wing.

Beat teams up with your defense and athleticism.

Great deal for Washington. I wasn't sure they'd be able to get a first for Beal.

A really good one at #12 too. So Washington has #8 and #12 in the first round to put two stars around Tony Parker. That is a very good base to build around. They have really improved their team.

Agreed. Too much for Beal. But, Denver now has Lawson/Beal/?/Faried/?, which has the makings of a decent up and coming squad.

And now I have 3 young runners and two second round picks to fill out my starting 5

I feel like my 1.14 pick has become less valuable in the last few hours.

Atlanta and Washington (win-now teams) making major moves.

I'm not sure it was ever all that valuable to begin with. Aside from a smattering of teams with 3 valid keepers, this is for all intensive purposes the third round.

Of course I say that now, but tomorrow will be pure torture without a pick.
