Yeah I almost took him over Ed Davis in the 4th.  Good pick for this round.

Fields is a pretty big disappointment to me.  $6 million+ for what?  4.8 points?

7.4 - Landry Fields
7.5 - Marreese Speights

Edgar gave me two names for 7.2, one listed as his preference, but I can't tell if he made a final decision.  I'll give him a few moments before announcing.
Roy,
Who did you make these picks for?

I think asking him to be much more than a rotation caliber player, below average starter in the future is a bit much. I don't think he'll ever get much better.

But that said, I don't think he's nearly as bad as he's been playing.

Don't get me wrong, the salary doesnt match the production.  I knew that, but I also knew that talent wise and ability to back up two positions he was clearly the best available. I think from a talent perspective there wasnt anybody like him left on the board at the SG/SF positions

I think he is currently being underutilized in toronto and is capable of more than what his stats show.  (I personally am not sure they ever wanted him, I think they expected the knicks to match)

CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I think Fields can easily be a 25 mpg game guy backing up the 2 and 3

I think if he's hitting his 3pt shots, he should be starting over Brewer. If he's not hitting his 3's, he doesn't belong on the court.

Kinda weird how that one skill makes his whole game viable or void.
