Yeah, I agree Leonard is the better player and Boozer is overpaid.  Can't deny that.

Boozer is not anywhere near as bad a defender as people seem to think though.  He is also an excellent rebounder.

I had no starting PF, and didn't see much chance of getting one at this point, so I had to take the gamble.

I should have moved Leonard sooner, but didn't think I'd need to, until a deal I had in place (that was primarily agreed to), fell apart do to an unfortunate circumstance.

I have a couple SF's in mind at this point with one of my two 4th round picks, but admit there is no way whoever I replace Leonard with will measure up.

Suns trade boozer 4.1

Nets trade Leonard 4.24

Confirmed.

I don't like that for New Jersey. Individual talent downgrade. A dodgy defensive big man alongside B.Lopez is a bad fit. Plus, it's a load of extra salary (for an inferior player).

Excellent move for Phoenix. Kawhi Leonard is a great fit alongside D-Wade on the wing. A very athletic and active defensive duo on the wings. Plus, Dragic at the point. Terrific perimeter defense all round. Gortat in the paint as a defensive anchor and shot-blocker. They should have a very strong defensive unit.

Wait did you just say that Kawhi is better than Boozer? Of course i might have read wrong but if you said that than you're wrong at this stage Boozer is better than Kawhi but Kawhi does have a lot of potential

Yes, I did.

Kawhi is in that Shane Battier (at his peak) type zone where even as a role player he is more valuable than many low level stars.

Like Battier, Kawhi hardly puts a foot wrong on the court. Almost every contribution he makes to his team is a positive one.

A guy like Boozer, the positive contributions he makes may be higher than Kawhi's but so too are his negative contributions (his lousy defense) and the net contributions (positives minus negatives) for me brings less to the table than Kawhi does.

Yea i can see where you're coming from and at 1.8 Kawhi is a better pickup than Boozer

Looking to get back into the early 4th. Will consider making the young and cheap Jonas Valanciunas available in order to do so.

Can owners vote against the change of the name Pistons (a name full of history) to the Newsies? (A third rate movie)

Yeah, that was a nonsense trade that would have been mocked incessantly if somebody proposed it.
