I guess it makes sense for both teams - though there's a ton of young players I value a lot more than Thompson who should be available at 2.6

For me it's about fit. I needed to compliment Bynum, not bind him up. Thompson is a great asset and one I was excited about, but it's a lot harder to find a floor spacing center than it is a floor spacing 4.
