In tangentially related rumors/news...

Scotto says the Celtics are longing after ainge's one time binky Sebastian Telfair as a trade target to replace Leandro Barbosa.

The suns want a second-round pick for Telfair. For 10+ minutes a game, why not?

Welcome back bass!

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I picked Derek Fisher bc of the experience, but he's not going to come for a 10 day contract.
For that matter, most of the names people are listing are not going to come on a 10-day contract.

Instead of Bibby, Baron, etc, think:
Carlos Arroyo, Shelvin Mack, etc.
Celtics fan for life.

I would be very, very surprised if Rudy ever left Real Madrid again until he retires.

I like Earl Boykins. He is a unique player and can create matchup problems.

Trade Rondo, sign Eddie House  ;D

remember when Rondo insulted Ray Allen
by calling him "Eddie House" ?
I'm sure EH didn't like that.

Jordan Farmar and Etwuan Moore would be my top two.
Then Mack and Boykins.

Like the idea of bringing in a Vet and a youngster who has a chance to backup Rondo more long-term. Has been awhile since we had a staple backup PG.
