i like how doc didnt call timeout to help barbosa

Doc didnt even look phased. I dont even think he noticed that we were playing 4 on 5.

The only thing worse for an NBA player than a knee injury is a knee injury in a contract year.

Has any other team lost three players for the season to injury in a 16 day span?  This is ridiculous.

the good thing is we might be able to keep barbosa on the cheap for next year as depth...

the only thing is, what would barbosa look like after an ACL reconstruction?

When exactly was Doc supposed to call a timeout? You need to have possession of the ball to call one, and when Barbosa showed signs of really being injured, you were just a quick pass and a quick shot away.

This has zero to do with Doc.

While I agree with the time out part, like I said above he didnt even seemed phased and didnt even notice that they were playing 4 or 5. He should have been motioning for someone to give an intentional foul. This didnt happen until the Bobcats were about to shoot the ball and either Pierce or Green did the action on their own.

What is up with this year?

This year? Every season after 08 has had significant injuries. Cursed I tell you!
Outside of Rondo's knee, most of the other stuff has been predictable. We've picked up older players and/or players with injury history, and gambled that enough of them will stay healthy over the course of the season.

HIS..is exactly my point about over playing kg and pp....for those that don't know....bball is 100% warrior body work....and barbosa isn't as old as pp or kg....yet...someone keeps playing them long minutes....and HAD help...lots of help...but he never plays them, tries to ditch them...breaks thier confidence.....how many other bigs came and went without getting much of a chance under docs rule..?

Losing Barbosa hurts.  Him going from riding the bench to being a productive double-digit scorer was one of the main reasons we were able to withstand the loss of Rondo.  Rondo's 40 minutes were dispersed amongst the other 4 guards and Barbosa went from DNP to 20+ minutes.

This is definitely something to be concerned about.  Barbosa had been excellent.

I agree guess it wasnt just me that thought this was a huge blow. It sucks too because like I said before Barbosa would have been awesome in the playoffs instant buckets and he will attack any defense. There is nobody out there we can get as good as what he brought to our team. Nobody really can attack like him on our team aside from maybe Lee and the Captain obviously.
