  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
I think we've got enough to get by Charlotte - they have worse bigs than we do.  So I'm guessing Chicago will get us.

It'd be sweet to have a 9 game streak waiting for us on the other side of All-Star Weekend though.

Tonight has all the markings of a trap game: double overtime yesterday, late trip, poor opponent... I'm not optimistic.

probably tonight for the current win streak.

then a 3 game losing streak later this month, which will cause everyone to throw in the towel (again).  but then C's respond with some gritty wins over tough teams, and we'll praise Paul and Kevin again.

that's just regular season basketball.
can't get too high or too low.

i've been saying it all year, and will stick to my guns now.  MIA is the only team in the east that could beat us 4 out of 7.

and now that we have better 1:1 defenders than last year, they should get concerned too.  Lee, Bradley, Green -- no better stable of athletes to slow down Bron & Wade.

I think you just jinxed it. No disrespect.

The last time we had a thread like this after winning 6 straight, we lost 6 straight.

after watching this team the last few years, no reason we should expect any semblance of consistency through the regular season.

come playoffs however, you don't want any part of the Lee/Bradley backcourt dogging your guards.  and Green has all the tools to matchup against any elite SF.  nevermind that KG hasn't lost a step, has been getting more rest than ever all year.  that Paul and JET are two of the most confident clutch shooters of the last decade.

reg season is what it is, all we gotta do is get into the dance -- then watch out
