Does anyone have any data regarding the winning percentage of teams that play in a triple OT home game and then play a back to back road game the next night vs. a team NOT on a back to back?

I bet it is around 10-20%.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is why I think winning this game vs. the Bobcats would be most impressive.

Thanks,

Well, there have been 42 triple-overtime (or more) games since 1986.  Here they are:

The rest of it is probably going to require some research.

I'd be surprised if there is much useful data, considering the sample size has to be ridiculously small.

Can't imagine that happens more than once every few seasons.

Looking at the last few teams that played on the road the day after 3 or more OT since 2004-2005:
Toronto wins at Indiana 2012-11-13
Utah wins at New Jersey 2012-03-26
Atlanta wins at Charlotte 2012-01-06
Miami loses at Philadelphia 2009-03-15
Utah loses at Orlando 2009-03-15
Charlotte wins at Indiana 2006-12-30

So there is a three-game win streak for teams playing on the road in the second game of a back-to-back in which the first game had three or more overtimes.

Well, it's mostly what I suspected; happens less than once per season.  Sample size is too small to mean anything.

Going back to the 1992-1993 season, which is as far back as realgm.com goes and excluding playoff games as there are usually NO back to backs in the playoffs, teams are 5-5.

I was surprised.  Dumb me forgot to see if the teams were playing on the road or not.

I wonder how many teams were playing with two starters OUT (ala Rondo and Sully)??:-)))

I think it will be a MIRACLE if we win this game!!!  This would be a blood and guts win vs. a desparate and rested and fully healthy Bobcats' team.

P.S. Thanks for the data Roy!!!
