Lets hope a loss does not mean another six game losing streak Did you know we are the first team ever to surround a six game losing streak with a pair of six game win streaks?

Extremely difficult game! Denver was a nightmare matchup for Boston anyway, now that they're on a big winning streak they look invincible. I hope that, if we lose this one (which is quite possible), we won't start the "blow it up" talk all over again, most teams in the NBA would lose to the Nuggets right now...
lol
True that Denver is not an easy matchup for any team in the league especially the C's, but even without Rondo, Boston is not an easy matchup for Denver either. Boston has on the court 3 guys on the floor who can bring the ball up the court, and 4 guys who can initiate offense. The problem I can easily see happening is Boston getting caught up with trying to run with these guys. As our boys in Green have seen with high octane offenses (e.g. Miami, New York, etc.) if you let them get easy buckets n transition it opens up the floor for their shooters, and then it can get ugly. But if our Boys play their game, be opportunistic in transition, pressure the ball for 48 mins on defense, this Denver team will show their vulnerability. No one gets after the ball like Bradley and Lee (please don't trade Lee), Jeff Green has become a matchup nightmare on both offense and defense, The Captain in spurts is still capable of making Iggy uncomfortable, and KG is about to show the Manimal why every kid who dreamed of playing in the post (in this generation) had a KG poster on his wall. The streak has a very realistic chance of continuing tonight!

I believe so. No announcements about it being cancelled, and boston is dug out and active again today, although no MBTA service until tomorrow.

Thank you! I'm going to the game and was hoping they didn't postpone! Hopefully the Celtics can keep their winning streak alive against a red hot Nuggets team!

One thing to ponder: Will Andre Iguodala play with fire today?
The Celtics (defeating the 76ers in game 7) indirectly led to the organization saying "We can't win" and so they ultimately decided it was OK for Iggy to go... will he blame us and play harder than ever?

Normal for a regular season Sunday night game.

I guess it's since our Sunday games are usually the matinees and I never notice Thanks for the tip, TP Most annoying games are 10:30 ones when we're in the West... too bad those will be coming again in a few weeks...

Celtics recall Fab Melo from Maine Red Claws
He's up, he's down, he's back up again.
Hours before they face the Denver Nuggets at TD Garden Sunday, the Celtics recalled rookie center Fab Melo from their NBDL team, the Maine Red Claws.
Melo played one game with Maine during his most recent assignment, and he had 6 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist in about 23 minutes against the Bakersfield Jam Friday.
Melo is averaging 11.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.45 blocks in 27.4 minutes per game in his 20 contests with Maine this season.
The former Syracuse player has played in two games for the Celtics this season, earning a total of 2 points, a steal and a block in eight minutes of action.
