He's just getting better and better.  His fieldgoal percentage has gone up every year for the past 7 years

06-07: .476
07-08: .484
08-09: .489
09-10: .503
10-11: .510
11-12: .531
12-13: .556

If he keeps this up, it's just insane.  27 points, 7 assists, 8 rebounds on 55% shooting.  You'd have to go back to like... late 1980s Jordan to find something like that.  LeBron is also shooting 41% from three.  Pretty wild.

It really is amazing. I heard that kobe has not had a single season better than lebron. Id have to look at the numbers to see how true that is but it wouldn't surprise me. Kobe is great but lebron is just, lebron.

You gotta give a ton of credit to management for how they put that team together. They basically took 3 ballhandlers and surrounded them with 3 point shooters to space the floor. Simple. Brilliant. Surprised more teams don't try it. The shooters open the lane for playmakers(LBJ, Wade, Chalmers). They keep at least 2 of 3 on the floor at all times and everyone is on the same page about their job.

We could've but we actually got too many ballhandlers and not enough shooters/floor spacers to make it work with Rondo. But LBJ is beasting right now, no doubt.

In my opinion, Kobe actually only deserved 2 rings.
3 of those rings were Shaqs, Kobe just happened to be in the team.
2 or maybe 1 cause I know we would've won if Perk was not hurt!

I think you can't just draw lines like that. Does KG only have .33 rings because of Ray or Pierce?

Does MJ only deserve 2/3 a ring per championship because he played with another top 50 all time player in Pippen?

Bottom line to me is, if you're a top 3 player on a championship team, you deserve one ring per championship without conditions.

That's different than saying he won them on his own, which Kobe is prone to do.

Yep yep. Even Shaq says he needed KoMe and vice-versa. I don't remember where I heard it from but someone said that's why Shaq and Dwadena fell out, because Shaq felt he got no credit for that chip from Wadena.

I aint mad at him and want him to be as healthy and good as he wants to be but I wish with everything in me he never wins another ring (may the Celtics win 20 straight)!

On what Planet did Lee stop Kobe?

Kobe saw multiple defenders all night...for the most part when defended by lee he easily backed him down and shot over him and made it.

Let's see, we have won SIX in a row (one against king james) Doc won his 400th and KG showed his love of the green with his no trade clause, 25,000 point and his great quote "bleed green, die green" and yet you guys find time to talk about Lebron **** james.  It is a CELTICS blog.... quit harping on someone that clearly is the darling of the NBA, never fouls by Sterns standards and whines on every call against him. Take him off his pedestal. Hit up the HEAT blogs for this worship. Not trying to be mean, just come here for Celtics info, not the enemies

You sound like you need a hug.

Lebron can probably do that too.  ;D
