It is absolutely mindblowing that we don't get blown out with a -100000 +/- when both are on the court, but somehow, someway the team seems take off whenever both of them are on the court together.   I honestly really do not understand how we don't get completely obliterated on defense (even though both of their individual defense has definitely improved).

Got to score a big one for Doc for putting two players you'd assume would be disastrous on the court together and masking their deficiencies and squeezing every ounce of value out of them.

They compliment each other pretty well IMO. Terry being a jump shooter and pick and roll handler while Barbosa being a penetrator and spot up shooter.

they are out playing against other teams 2nd unit most of the time, so thats why they are not getting destroyed and actually destroying them. On top of that , both being former 6th players of the year, they have more talent and experience than you think.

Like you said, they've both improved defensively somewhat, and particularly important, I think, is that Barbosa is so freakin' quick—he always has been, but he never before played on a defense-oriented team that pushed him to play good D. With his quick feet and hands, he should almost always be able to keep his man in front of him, and get a few steals.

Jason Terry's poor defense has also been greatly exaggerated.

It's just another instance of people relying too much on the "eye" test, which is too unreliable for making consistent judgments, especially for something as inherently subjective as defense.

I am not arguing that Terry is an elite defender, but he has consistently hovered right around average. He is not nearly the sieve some make him out to be.

2 former 6th man of the year.

They are great offensive threats, both play really well with the ball in their hands, spaces the floor well too.

Improved Defense, not the pitbulls level, but improved.

I think Doc figured out a rotation that works.

Stick with it Doc, please.

AND!! MORE WILCOX!!!

Very explosive for scoring off the bench.

Currently with Green, Terry, and Barbosa playing more free, there should be no reason our bench scores less then 35 ppg.
