If anyone would attempt this, it'd be Rondo.

Knowing Rondo he wants to get back on the court ASAP. Just too risky though.

I respect his competitiveness and I know he's sitting at home itching and probably pacing back and forth wanting to come back, but I don't think this is a great idea at all.
He needs to just wait until the next season and come back completely healthy because coming back too early might be too risky.

Someone tell him to take his time, we are 6-0 without him.

I admire Rondo's willingness to come back but he really should just take the rest of the year off and make sure he comes back fully healthy next year.

Via CSNNE.com, Rondo's agent Billy Duffy said that the point guard's ACL injury is actually a partial tear, thus opening the door for an earlier than anticipated return. "It's still too early to tell for sure," his agent said. "But we are very optimistic about his return now that we know his injury is only a partial tear and not a full tear." Celtics general manager Danny Ainge however told CSNNE.com that Rondo will not return this season and his timetable has not changed. And to be clear: Rondo's agent isn't saying he will come back before the end of the season. He said they are "optimistic" that it's not a full tear and don't know for sure yet. Which isn't firm either way, but certainly at least leaves the door cracked a bit.
Rondo is one of the toughest, most competitive players in the league so it's not surprising that he's pushing to return. Following his injury, he actually was heard saying he'd be back in two weeks.
But until he actually goes under the knife, I guess we'll have to just wait and see. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-on-basketball/21664675/could-rajon-rondo-return-sooner-than-expected

What a troll that Sherrod A is ( As Tommy would say, you "know what the A stands for!")
Exactly what I was going to say. That guy is the king of building celtics fans up with crappy, false reporting only to crush them once again when the real news actually comes through.
