Admittedly, I am not an expert on the NBA salary cap.
I just think that way, you expedite the "rebuilding" process rather than just being in the NBA toilet for the next 3-5 years. If that's the case, I ain't watching.
You could conceivably do one of these two deals and I really think the Lakers would listen to the first one
