Grizz still looking like they want to save money and trade Randolph. Far fetched, unliked by me, but does anyone think about doing this deal?

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bdowvm6

Gives up a line up next year of

Rondo/Barbosa
Bradley/Lee
Pierce/Green
Randolph/Sully
Jordan/FA

Memphis nets 3 years and 6 mil of Bass instead of 3 years 16 mil of Randolph while developing Davis and Arthur to take his place. Save money with Odoms expiring and gain young assets in Bledoe and Melo. Waive Collins whose in there for contract match.

LA builds to win now with KG and Terry.

I love that deal but I'm not sure it's one Memphis goes for.

Yeah, Memphis can't keep all 5 of those guys, so they're gonna end up cutting Collins and probably Melo. I don't think Odom, Bledsoe, and Bass is much of a return for a player like Z.Bo. I think the Clips might have to give up one more piece to the Griz.

Maybe Willie Green to the Grizzlies and Melo to the Clippers instead of to the Griz.

not a bad idea if we're moving KG but the issue I have is that all we have in the frontcourt after that deal is Jordan, Zach and Wilcox.  that's pretty thin even though Wilcox can back them both up.

Ditto. That would be a sweet front court with Randolph and Jordan. Randolph has been really quiet the last 2 years. I think he's due to punch a teammate or someone in the crowd.

Don't like it, if you get Randolph it stunt Sullinger's growth because they can't be on the floor together.

Randolph is 100 times better than Sullinger right now. When Randolphs contract expires, Sully will be 23. A perfect time to step in as a starter and get bigger minutes. Yes he has played well but I dont think he is ready to be a starting powerforward on a contender. Just so happens he earned the spot against competition that was somewhat stiff this year.

Randolph to the Lakers for Pau on draft night?
Nothing to see here

I was walking along the road with two friends
the sun was setting
suddenly the sky turned blood red
I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence
there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city
my friends walked on and I stood there trembling with anxiety
and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.

No way the Lakers take on Randolphs salary, especially with D'Antoni coaching.
