You're probably confusing Daryl Morey for David Kahn.

Danny Ainge missed that option this Summer by not doing his due diligence. Rondo or Garnett could have netted us Harden I'm sure. Westbrook coulda move to SG & OKC would still cut the nets down at the end of the year. I actually thinking how Boston coulda got Harden yesterday if Danny had explored OKC's thinking.

OKC has Westbrook, why would they trade for Rondo? Furthermore Harden was traded for financial reasons, Rondo doesn't really fix that for them long term.

KG was a FA so he couldn't be traded.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Only in our dreams.

James Harden is a 23 year old efficient scoring play-maker with a clean bill of health averaging 25/5/4 in points, assists, and rebounds.

Why trade that for a non-scorer who's 3 years older with a freshly torn acl?

  • It's what I do! It's who I am!
Could you imagine? I'd give Ainge the GM of the decade award

So after all the Rondo-bashing you think he can be traded for Harden? After he just tore his ACL...?

Makes no sense at all for Houston, even without considering their commitment to Lin.

I'd do it in a heartbeat though.

I meant Pierce as opposed to Garnett but your right they couldn't fit Pierce in financially but Rondo they could have i'm sure & it would have allowed Westbrook to play shooting gaurd where he needs to be. Its passed up by now so we could only dream.

The time to get Harden was when we traded Perk.  Of course, OKC knew what they were doing agreeing to JG and not to Harden.  But maybe Danny could have sweetened the pot.  Not sure they'd have let go of Harden for anything at that time. But that was the moment (if there was one) to get him.

Not even David Kahn on an acid trip would say yes.
