Since Heat Acquired Ray Allen
They Have More Floor Spacing
D-wade And Lebron

if you put a zone defense on them
it will be hard for them to attack the basket
force lebron and wade hits mid-shots (jumpshots)
and hope they misses

we also got superior bench productions so its not really a problem for us

The Heat lose their composure when teams go to a zone defense
if you remember the dallas mavericks
chandler waiting for lebron and wade to attack
while noviztki pushes haslem outside
while marion forces lebron to hit jumpshots as green did
Mavericks flustered the Heat
you know chandler is a rebounder, bosh is soft 6'11 while tyson is a defensive player 7'1

all heat players are perimeter shooters, they got a better floor spacing, while lebron wade bosh can attack the basket for good

zone defense, The zone defense allows players to remain more or less in position, this makes the heat more harder to spread the floor

They have lethal perimeter shooters in James Jones, Dwyane Wade and Norris Cole Ray Allen Mike Miller Shane Battier

if kg can go back to pf and put him on haslem and battier,
and lets go for a big guy quick or not, just to out-rebound bosh in terms of height, i think we have a chance
we also need an offensive firepower

if miami heat misses a shot force it into a quick play and transition baskets
if we have a big guy, let him shoot inside and force a foul on him....

we also need some mental toughness

The Heat game was the first one Rondo missed with his ACL injury.

You need two wing defenders who can be respectable against LeBron, great team defense, and you have to win 2 or 3 other positional battles as you're not winning SF/PF against LeBron.

Its hard, but the C's are decently equipped for it with their full roster. Without Rondo  :(. Spurs/OKC can I believe, other than that? I have a tough time seeing it.

We can defeat the Heat even without Rondo. We matchup well with their roster.
But that's not happening in a best-of-seven series. Though, I didn't see it happen even if Rondo was present. Still, it's a pity, because Green's presence would definitely be a big boost for our side against LeBron.

Maintain integrity of the perimeter and make them shoot jumpshots is a big key, control the defensive boards so they can't break.   Force them to play hero ball.

adding a big man who gets 7 rebounds and 1 or 2 or 3 or 0 blocks, maybe some defense.... if we have really no choice on bigs? will that somehow help

then used a zoned defense?

I think have good talented big men and try to force the Heat away from small ball.

The Heat is loaded in terms of swing stoppers.

I think they are much more limited in trying to stop low post threats.
