If the Jazz decided they would rather have Green than Splitter would you do it?

Ok, so at the start of the season Green was playing poorly and people wanted to trade him.

Now he's playing well, playing outstanding defense and playing with more effort - so you want to trade him anyway?

No.  Make that a HELL no.

Jefferson is as slow as boulder, he can't defend to save his life, and he's not capable of backing up Paul Pierce at SF.

Terry is one of the best clutch scorers of the past decade, has championship experience, and excels in the playoffs.

No chance in hell I'd do this trade.

Forget about adding a pick, but either way no. Big Al is to slow.

I was thinking more of Rondo for Millsap and a pick. But I'm not sure I would do that either.

Green defending Lebron is our only shot at beating Miami so I concur with the gentleman who said, "hell no."

I don't think I'd do it for Big Al, but if they offered Paul Milisap I'd have to jump

Utah would have no interest.

1)  Green's clone (or at least close enough) Williams is already on the team.

2)  Both the contracts from SA are in the last year so the team can say "goodbye" next season.

We are not beating Miami in a series, just forget about that please. This blog has become totally unrealistic in the past week lol.

Look we beat 3 very bad teams, the clippers who have been on a slide, and yes we beat Miami at home in double OT. But people need to be realistic.

Agree. I loved Big Al when he was on a rebuilding team but he isnt a winner. He hasnt show what it takes and its too slow, especially on defense. Every team he has gone to has performed worse than years he was there previous, then when he leaves those teams have gotten better. (Boston, Minn).

Jefferson team where he is the number one offensive threat is 2 games better then Greens team where he is just a reserve.

Celtics would be so happy to make this trade.

Comments on thread posts:
1. Jefferson's defense always gets a bad rap. He's really more of a four than a five and has been playing out of position for a lot of his career. Pairing him with KG would allow him to defend better.
2. Is Jefferson really that slow? he scored more than 27% of his points within the first ten seconds of the shot clock, meaning that he has to be scoring on the fast break sometimes.
3. I see Green as being the heir apparent to Pierce, with Pierce nearing the end I think you want to hold onto him.
