I've been thinking on if I had the 4th pick for a team. There are clear 1-3 picks, or at least 3  teams that stand over the rest of the league.

It's a really tough choice. There are just big challenging weaknesses to every team.

Oklahoma and Miami. Clippers. Spurs. Knicks.

Hmmm ... not sure where I go after that. So I got five teams ahead of the pack.

A lot depends on where you're picking them. Some teams have a much higher value later in the lottery because you have an early pick in the first round.

I don't think Id go Spurs. Maybe Knicks. Probably not. The money tied up there, I balk at it, and frankly, I just don't think the incarnation now, in luxury tax super land, is all that good.

I like the Duncan/Parker Spurs combo. A couple sleepers that I think could be fun to work with.

I think we are at the limit of what we want.

It just not as fun starting with the Bobcats/Magic.

Historical Draft Best Overall/Best Defensive team

Looking at the teams last year, and knowing now what we know, there doesn't look like a clear winner. This draft really does encourage parity, more so than the actual CB draft, which seems odd.

(For anyone who wants to take a gander)

I still love my team.

Houston Rockets

PG - Jose Calderon, Nate Robinson, Reggie Jackson
SG - JR Smith, Mike Dunleavy
SF - Carmelo Anthony, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Ryan Gomes
PF - Kenyon Martin, Ed Davis, Craig Smith
C  - Al Jefferson, Jeff Foster

Ain't nobody stopping that team

CB Historical Draft

Elvin Hayes, Tiny Archibald, Truck Robinson, Bobby Jones, 5.11, 6.2, 7.11, 8.2, 9.11, 10.2, 11.11, 12.2
