Wait, is Roy retired from all drafts?

I'm staying open-minded about participating in the historic draft, and I'll probably participate in the silly ones (Ultimate Draft, etc.)

I reserve the right to change my mind in the future, though.

 :P

But no more CB Draft, Pick 2?

It's like Jordan retiring.

Im also excited to see where this goes- ive always been intrigued by a salary cap structure. I kinda always wanted to do a long term salary cap system

So, is the rule that you cannot exceed the cap your team has.  Like, for instance, if your team's salary cap was $70 million, the total salary of the players you select (12-15?) cannot pass $70 million.  Is that how it goes?

Suggestion for keeping things clean and organized- when you pick you should list

Player picked (salary)
Remaining salary
Maximum bid (salary - roster spot holds)

My fear is getting to the end and people having spent too much and not being able to fill out their rosters. Could be a real disaster

If you can exceed the cap, does that also mean you can be under it once you've selected 12 players?

Thanks for the clarification.  TP.  Can't wait for this.  I love doing Association Mode on NBA 2K so being a GM is nothing new for me.
