Houston, San An, and Denver, maybe also the Dubs...
Have absolute crazy offense.

140 points in regulation? That would be such a fun game to watch. They don't miss!

Celtics are about defense, which is unshowy but works too.

But wow... That's a lot. Of. Points.

Spurs had 130-point games this season too I think.
Houston scores 120 consistently!!!

All about dem young legs I suppose.

I want to see us do that but its unlikely unless Wilcox and Green get lots of dunks for free on a terrible defense. All our bombers (CL, JG, AB, PP, LB) make all their threes at great clips. Garnett does not miss. Garbage time scorers like Collins get crazy, Barbosa scores a ton, and we just don't miss on any possessions unless we get fouled and make those freebies. And if we miss the second free throw, we get a putback dunk for two more.

And without ever slowing pace, which is nearly impossible. But gah! What if we did it!?

I do realize this was a terrible thread to make :/ but 140!!!!!!!!!

It's not.

I might not bother with a Rockets-Warriors game if not for this thread. I like both teams but rarely watch non-Celtic games.

I just wish Lin had one more assist to give me a DD on my fantasy team!  ;D
But wow, just 18 pts from Harden and still they score 140! That's just awesome!

I watched most of the game, it was fun but such a blowout that the last quarter was pretty boring.  But Houston can light it up, and GS can be lit up, that's for sure.

This is why I don't believe Golden State can be a threat in the playoffs.  Not this year, at least.

They need more than one quality defensive player if they're going to make real noise in the spring.

23 3 pointers isn't shooting well?!? (58%)  That's probably an all time record.

I think the Nuggets had a 160ish point game a few years ago.

You're right about the pace, although GS is more than willing to run up the floor and chuck it too.  On top of 177 FGAs, these guys somehow managed 75 FTs.

Edit:  Yup, Denver had 168 points in 08 with Camby recording a triple double in 26 minutes.  Interestingly, despite over 750 games of 140+ points, there were absolutely none between 1998 and 2006.  Talk about the league slowing down.  Also, 4 out of the last 5 since were by Phoenix.
