I would give up ever trying to make predictions or give analysis about basketball ever again because the NBA doesn't make sense anymore.

Either that, or I'd start going to church every Sunday because it's clear God is a Celtics fan (in this scenario every major star on every opposing team suffers a season-ending injury).

I'd trade Rondo for a young guy with huge upside - either a scoring SF/SG or a very talented PF/C who can take over for Pierce / KG once they retire.

I really think Pierce is ourost important offensive player and KG our most important defensive player.  If we Lose both at the same time (which we will when they retire) then I think we are totally screwed.

Maybe a deal of Rondo and another for Hortford and Teague or something of that nature.  Or Smith and Teague.
