1. What's the Celtics record this season with Rondo?
2. What's the Celtics record this season without Rondo?
3. What's the Celtics record this season with Avery?
4. What's the Celtics record this season without Avery?

I'm hoping someone has already done this research.

We're 6-3 without Rondo.  That means we're 18-20 with him in the lineup.

With Avery, we're 10-6 overall.  Without him, we went 14-17.

In the grand scheme of things, fairly meaningless numbers, considering the sample size.

Agreed.  I don't think this really illustrates much at all. Too many variables at play.

With the wildly inconsistent play we've seen thus far we'd have to be longer than a baseball season to get a decent sample size.

Hey, we've been consistently inconsistent -- that's gotta count for something.

Aside from thousands of posts here trying to find patterns in random data?

A stat that I think is interesting is our team assists with and without Rondo.

This year, in the 9 games without Rondo, we have 209 assists for an average of 23.2 APG.

In the 38 games without him, we have 881 assists for an average of exactly the same, 23.2 APG.

Last year our record without Rondo was 8-5, for a two year aggregate of 14-8 (52 game pace).  Still not enough data for any major conclusions but enough to make one stop and think I believe.
