Lil' Nate just got himself to be EC The Player of the Week!!!
I've always admired him and his game, too bad Doc didn't feel the same way.
Nate is proving people he can play of the top level, on winning team

Nate managed to string together all the four games that his shot would be falling this month into the same week. Good for him. Statistically, it's bound to happen at least once in his career.

Guy can be a microwave.

I was actually at the Bobcats-Bulls game last Monday night.  Nate almost singlehandedly turned a close game in the 2nd half into a double digit lead for the Bulls at one point.  Chicago ended up winning by 8 but Nate played a pretty solid game.  Dropped like 15 points or something.

He's just one of those players that you're not quite sure what you're going to get night in & night out, though.

It's my way to say that Nate Robinson is inconsistent and unreliable. Great for him that he had a neat week. Doubt he can do it for more than a week. It's not like haven't seen him up, close, and personal -- he can shoot you out of a game just as effectively as he can shoot you into a game.

Nate is scary the way Eddie House was scary -- you aren't sure if he'll bring it , but if he does you are in trouble. Not like the real Microwave who seemed to be hot every night.

Good teams become great teams when they have a bunch of guys who can, on a given night, win a playoff game for you.  We've had our share of such guys.  Good for Nate.

Agreed entirely. He's a great option to have off the bench, particularly when you're looking for someone who can score a lot of points very quickly, but the key word in that description is "can."

There's a huge difference between streaky and unreliable.  I'm sure you've probably only watched Nate Robinson in Celtic games, but his play with us was a huge aberration.  He was not playing the minutes he was used to, and it was clear how hard he was trying to run the offense at the expense of his game.

We're talking about a guy that averaged 17-4-4 (on 44% shooting) when he got real minutes, that's hardly unreliable.  In fact, no other player has EVER done that off the bench.  He's a truly one of a kind player that struggles at times because he can't hang in the paint against some players.

This mostly happened because he  played 30 minutes a game, and had green light to take as many threes as he wants (5+ per game, despite shooting a paltry .320).

The Bulls, by the way, are keeping him on as close a leash as the Celtics (3.5 threes a game), so don't expect him to average 17 ppg again soon.

My main complaint when Nate was on the C's is that he was an absolutely embarrassment on the defensive end.
