Many rumors, rumors, rumors, but Pierce is still a killer, a closer, he is among the 3/4 best closers in the league yet, and today he has shown this to Clippers.
I find it amazing that every year Pierce is on rumors of trades, he's a legend, he should retire a Celtic, Perhaps Duncan or Kobe would come from LA or SA?, Like Pierce.
Long live the # 34, with 35 years remains an incredible player, respect, this is a business, but there are things that are not negotiable, Pierce is one of them, is more than a player, a Celtic symbol.

He absolutely should retire a Celtic. It would be a shame if he we traded him.

lol same, he hit a big shot today no doubt. Lets not act like he hasn't missed a TON of big shots this year at the end of games tho. There's not many REAL clutch players in the NBA. Meaning more times than not you come through in the clutch.

Even though he can't do it all the time, I still love it when Pierce hits a big shot.

yep. i still do not like it. we are now moving the ball effectively without rondo and yet doc does this time and time again at the end. baffling. we got away with it today.

I see nothing wrong with the call... He takes a shot at the buzzer...Makes it we go up 5. Misses it the Clippers have to track down a rebound with the clock still running. There was what 2.5 seconds on the make. That ball misses and easily takes at least a full second to a second and a half of the clock before the rebound plus they need to gain possession and call a time out. The play today reminded me of my favorite all time Celtics play...

He isn't the same PP but he worked his magic today, he missed an easy dagger shot from fifteen then nailed the really hard three afterwards.
