A lot of solid role players forced to give the ball to one star. Star gets removed (different reasons obv.) team is fixed to move the ball and becomes more of a team offense?

Am I really just fishing for something or is there some real similarities?

In these few games yeah, it could be made. Remember though, the Nuggets are still looking for a star player to get them over the hump.

I think this type of play is great for regular season wins, but not so much in the playoffs

Pierce is our star-est player I think.

Not a terrible comparison.

Other aspect of it is that the team without the star may look better in the regular season but can't go nearly as far in the post-season.

We might as well put Tyrion in at center.

What the nuggets lacked is NOT a star player - it is a closer.

We have 2 very very good closers on our team that we can rely on to make plays in the 4th quarter.

With the 16th pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select Daenerys Targaryen (and her 3 dragons + 8000 Unsullied) from the continent of Essos!

Even at their advanced age, KG and Pierce are still 10 times better than the Nuggets' best player

So I don't get this comparison

Not 10 times but Pierce can be 1.5x better than any of the Nugs

The Nuggets have gotten worse since Carmelo left, and Melo forced his way out of town.

My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.
