Video? What happened to MKG?

He and a teammate were crashing down on a fast break layup and it looked like I guess his head hit his teammates knee?  It was tough to tell.  Really surprising it was that serious just from when you see the play.

And there's nothing you do about this.  Come on people.  Routine play that just went wrong.

Sucks to be a rook...

Slightly related: do more safety features need to be added to NBA hoops?

Whos MGK?
Michael Kidd-Gilchrest

Thank you Banku

Not really up on NBA rookie names
Way too many abbreviations in this world, IMO. ;)

(Sorry, couldn't resist ... but I actually do get irritated by them at times).
It would be nice if players had to actually accomplish something before getting an abbreviation.

See, I think they should have to accomplish something before we take the time to pronounce all five syllables.

  • It's what I do! It's who I am!
Seeing him down like that reminds me of Daniels

+1

He did win a national title in college though. That's why he's famous for a rook.

From the sound of it, the concussion / collision was scary at the time, but MKG probably won't miss the rest of the season or anything.

So yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say Sully's injury is worse.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
