What team can the Celtics beat that the Rondo crowd will admit, this team is better without Rondo slowing down the offense and not playing any defense?

I'm not sure what you mean by Rondo crowd, but I will not be impressed unless we make it further into the playoffs.

So, unless we make the Finals.

With Rondo we were not going to make the playoffs.

You have absolutely no evidence to support this.  Even with the record we had at the time Rondo went down we were still the 8th seed.

We were an 8 seed who was on a big losing streak and the Raptors just drastically improved.

We were getting worse, and even if we did manage to sneak into the playoffs, there was no way we were making the freaking finals like you said we would.  What a freaking idiotic comment.

starting to feel a lot like last year... all sorts of troubles early... underperforming players getting minutes... and then injuries suddenly started defining roles and the team found an identity.

Granted, our identity this year will be drastically different than last year... but we're starting to form one.

I don't think injuries had much to do with it, other than with JO. Bass was playing well in his role before injuries, Wilcox was playing well, and we could've used him in the playoffs.

So don't know what you're particularly pointing to.

Nice try, the trade was after the injury.

Were you not watching last year?  We were plagued by injuries last year... Wilcox, Jeff Green, Ray Allen, JO... from that we had to force Bradley and Bass into significant roles and we were forced to switch KG to center.

I'm not even a Bradley fanatic and even I realize that injuries contributed to the defined roles of last season.

This year is completely different, but injuries once again are defining roles for us.
